ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

10.8 REPLACING THE NEOPRENE GASkET OF THE SEALING UNIT MAINTENANCE

WARNING:
This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
1) Lower the sealing head and fix it in the closed position

by means of holder
2) Release the two side hooks on the steel cover
3) Remove cover C
by raising it.
4) Deactivate the electric connector

5) Disconnect the two tubes (red and black)
on the green or orange plastic ring nut on the union,
pulling the tube at the same time.
6) Unscrew the four knobs
unit.
7) Lift the entire sealing unit
king care to avoid damaging the threaded insertion pins
and the cutting units (blades and film-retainer profiles).
8) Remove gasket I
and clean the seat to remove residual dirt, if present.
9) Insert the new gasket and press it all the way into the hollow seat.
10) Insert the sealing unit, by centring the four threaded pins
knobs and hook the cover on.
11) Insert the 2 red and black tubes in the two unions, pushing them to fit
flush (approx. 7mm). Insert the electric connector, blocking it by means
of the trip lever.
12) Hook the stainless steel cover, guiding with one hand the corrugated tube

on the back into the opening provided in the cover.
