The i2600 will next require you to enter a target EQ.
Click the "EQ Target" icon to enter the Target EQ set
menu and set the response you hope to get from the EQ
system. You can also load a previously saved target EQ.
8.
Click "Confirm New Target" to accept settings.
9.
To cancel the auto EQ process, click Exit at any time.
10. Click the Start icon to continue to step 3. The Auto EQ
results should appear on screen immediately.
11. Click Yes to confirm the Auto EQ settings made by the
i2600.
12. To exit the RTA function, click Exit. The i2600 software
will ask you to confirm changes to your GEQ.
Remote Software Functions (Input)
Source: Select your input source using this pop-up menu. The
source can be selected between Analog, Digital, Pink Noise, or the
internal Tone Generator.
Noise Gate: As previously described in this manual, the Noise
Gate can help remove unwanted low-frequency noise and rumble.
Pulling up the Noise Gate menu provides Threshold, Attack and
Release options, as well as a quick bypass button. For more
information, please see page 14.
AGC (Automatic Gain Control): The AGC is essentially a
Expander / Compressor that can help regulate input levels to
ensure they stay at a certain range. The AGC menu will give
you options for expander time, compressor time, compressor
threshold, hold threshold, expander threshold, expander ratio and
compressor ratio. More information can be found on page 15.
Delay: This option will bring up the menu for delay on both input
and output. Users are able to adjust the delay time in course and
fine detail, while the delay time itself is given in both milliseconds
and meters. The maximum selectable delay time is 598.998
milliseconds.
GEQ: Users can select either a 15-band graphic or 7-band
parametric equalizer on inputs. This menu provides a clear graph
that shows the EQ curve, with virtual on-screen faders that can
be adjusted using the mouse or by entering a value at the top
of the fader. When the 7-band equalizer is selected, the Q and
frequency options can be adjusted, while these are fixed on the
15-band GEQ. This menu also allows users to view all inputs
simultaneously on the graph, as well as bypass the EQ altogether.
Cursers can be displayed on screen, if so required, and there's
a button that allows for immediate flattening of the EQ. Further
information on these EQs can be found on pages 15 and 16.

Subharmonics/Feedback Killer: This is the final option of the
input channels. You can select either a subharmonic generator or a
feedback killer. When the subharmoic generator is selected, users
can select the amount of the mix to be affected (by percentage)
and the filter frequency. There is also a bypass button. When the
feedback killer is selected, you can select the number of fixed
frequency filters, the feedback type and the time at which the
feedback killer will be lifted. There is also a menu to adjust the
sensitivity of the filter types, between 1 (not sensitive) to 10 (very
sensitive). There are also view options and an option to enable
live lifting of the feedback eliminator. It can also be activated and
deactivated in this menu. For more information on this option,
please see page 17.
Remote Software Functions (Output)
Matrix: The first button available on the outputs is matrix. This
allows you to select whether channel A, channel B, or both
channels A and B, will be sent to the corresponding output.
Crossover: The crossover essentially opens the EQ menu. The
EQ on outputs is a 4-band parametric EQ. To create a crossover,
simply apply a High Pass or Low Pass filter (also found on the EQ
menu). Users are able to select different curves for their filters, and
designate a filter frequency. It is also possible to create a custom
filter using the available options (curve type, Q, frequency, etc).
More information on high pass and low pass filters can be found
on page 19.
PEQ: As mentioned in the last point, each output has a 4-band
parametric EQ. You are able to select the level, frequency, Q and
bandwidth of your EQ. There are also several 'shape' options,
including shelves and other additional filters. Additional options
can be found on the right-hand side of the screen, including an
option that will allow you to view two or more output EQ curves
at the same time. More information on the EQ can be found on
page 20.
Delay: This option will bring up the menu for delay on both input
and output. Users are able to adjust the delay time in course and
fine detail. The delay is shown in both milliseconds and meters.
The maximum selectable delay time is 598.998 milliseconds.
Compressor: The compressor allows you to lower the level of
high level audio at a preselected ratio. The compressor function
of the i2600 has Threshold, Ratio, S/H Knee, Release Time and
Attack Time options. A makeup option is also included to allow
compressed signals to be returned to a suitable level. For more
information on the output compressor, please see page 18.
Limiter: The limiter acts in the same manner as the compressor,
except instead of reducing levels it will completely limit their level
to a predefined threshold. Available parameters include Threshold,
Release Time and Attack Time. For more information on the i2600
limiter, please consult page 18.
