Clean the air inlet grille at
regular intervals.
21. Never cover the air inlet grille
or the air outlet opening with
your hand or other objects.
22. If you have curlers, hairpins
or similar items in your hear,
ensure that they do not pro-
ject more than 10 mm, to
avoid contact with energised
parts of the hair dryer.
23. For safety reasons, do not
use the appliance to dry arti-
ficial hair.
24. To avoid burns, never aim
the hot air flow directly at
your face.
25. Do not use any hair sprays
while the appliance is in
operation.
26. Switch off the appliance
before you set it down.
27. The appliance is equipped
with an overheating pro-
tection circuit. If operated
for too long, the appliance
switches off automatically
to prevent damage to the
appliance. After an appropri-
ate cool-down time, you can
place the appliance in ser-
vice again.
28. After use or prior to cleaning
the appliance, always switch
off and unplug the appliance
from the electrical outlet
and allow it to cool.
29. As long as the plug is in the
electrical outlet, even if the

the appliance poses a hazard
in the vicinity of water.
30. Do not insert any objects

and/or repair to our customer
service organisation. Unau-
thorised repairs can result in
serious risks to the user and
will void the warranty.
35. If the power cord of this
appliance is damaged, it
must be replaced by the
