S lt should be ensured that the mounting/siting surfaces
are clean, flat and level. Depending on the Installation
circumstances, any levelling error can be compen­
sated for example by suitable wedges and compen­
sating plates (permanently welded) or by the grinding
away the mounting surface. On no account must the
module plates be ground.

S The foundation/base frame must be sufficiently stiff so
that no impermissible deformations (e.g. deflections)
occur on loading.
S In order to keep the mounting as free of straining
forces as possible, the fastening holes on the base
frame and the tank joint must be sufficiently in align­
ment. Same means to the bore of the anti‐liftoff de­
vice.
S Uniform loading on the support points should be pro­
vided where possible. Correct adjustment of the
height on the supporting points must be ensured
(have compensating shims ready). This is especially
important for statically undefined supports.
