Important information
Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
Do not use the devices in water or rain.
The AC adapters are designed for these devices only. Do not use the supplied AC
adapters with other devices.
Avoid exposure to extreme heat or strong light.
Do not open the housings or the AC adapters (danger of electric shock!).
Check whether the local mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
AC adapter.
Avoid touching the battery contacts. Do not touch the contacts with metal objects.
Do not cover the devices (e.g. with a towel, sheet, etc.)
Clean the devices using a moist cloth and never use aggressive cleaning agents.
Constant use at high volumes impairs your hearing and may cause permanent
damage.
Preparing your RF headphone
1.
Place the transmitter near to your hi-fi system, your TV or another audio source.
2.
Connect the AC adapter to the connector on the transmitter, then plug it into a mains
socket.

Connect one end of the audio jack cable to the audio input of the transmitter and the
other end to the headphone output or a Line-Out / Rec-Out output. Set the volume of
your audio source to _ to 1/3 of the maximum volume.
4.
The power-on lamp lights up when the transmitter is on.
5.
Insert the supplied batteries as described in the chapter "Using batteries or battery
packs".
6.
Switch on the RF headphone using the on/off switch.
7.
Press the channel selection button on both devices to find the optimal transmission
channel.
8.
Your devices are now ready for operation and transmission begins automatically
when music is played on your audio source.

Explanation of functions

Auto-tuning

Should interference be received, press the channel selection button on the transmitter.
The transmitter then automatically searches for another of the eight possible channels.
Then press the channel selection button on the RF headphone and it will adjust to the
new transmission channel.
Stand-by mode
The transmitter will automatically switch to stand-by when there has not been a signal for
about three minutes. As soon as there is a new signal it will automatically return to
transmitting.
Using batteries or battery packs
Open the battery compartment
1.
To open the battery compartment, turn the ear cushion of the left hand side "L"
clockwise and remove it with care.
2.
Put the batteries or battery packs (micro, type AAA) into the battery compartment,
observing the correct polarity.
3.
Put the ear cushion back on the battery compartment in the same direction as you
removed it. Turn it anti-clockwise until it clicks.
