11.2 Table of malfunctions

Table 6 contains an overview of malfunctions, possible causes,
and remedies.
If you cannot remedy a malfunction, please contact
AVENTICS GmbH. The address is printed on the back cover
of these instructions.
Possible cause
Valve is defective
Incorrect channel is controlled
Electric connections are defective
Seal is missing or damaged
Component is not leaktight
End plate exhaust is closed
Blanking plugs for pressure zone
separation incorrectly mounted
One or both of the manual
overrides is in position 1
If Malfunctions Occur
Remedy
Exchange valve
Check the control
Check the electric connections and
exchange, if necessary
Check the seal and exchange,
if necessary
Exchange component
Open the exhaust (R) and connect
a silencer or a line for restricted
exhaust.
Check the blanking plugs
for pressure zone separation
and remove, if necessary
Set the manual overrides
to position "0" (see "Checking the
valve function" on page 79)
