Preliminary checks

The user must appoint a qualified person able to manage and run
the system, in particular as regards the following operations:
Check various parameters for water treatment and
dispensing of additives required to ensure its quality.
Check efficiency of the cartridge filter.
Check and eliminate any alarm messages that appear
on the display.
System maintenance.
The user, unless properly qualified, must only undertake the ac-
tions listed below. He must not take any other action. He must
ensure, before starting the system, that it is set up to operate
correctly and that the water is at the desired temperature.
In the event of faults or malfunctioning, he/she must discon-
nect the system via the master switches and then request
the intervention of specialist technicians.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. shall not be held liable if opera-
tions to be performed by specialists are carried out by
unauthorized personnel.

User safety

If installed by qualified personnel in compliance with the in-
structions in the installation manual, the system does not pres-
ent any risks for the user. However, safety also depends on
proper use, as set forth in this manual.
For any extra maintenance e/or repairs it is recommended that
you contact a Jacuzzi
®
Authorized Service Centre and use on-
ly original spare parts.
Only one person at a time should get into the tub, be-
cause the capacity of the pipes that connect the over-
flow channel to the compensation tanks has a limit. It
several people get into the spa, the water may over-
flow out of the tub.

WARNINGS

PLEASE CAREFULLY READ
THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability for
damages arising from failure to observe the fol-
lowing directions.
This equipment must not be used by individuals (including
children) with limited physical, sensorial and/or cognitive
abilities, or individuals who do not have the knowledge
necessary for its use.
Children may use this equipment only under strict supervi-
sion by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
- Do not use the water at temperatures over 40°C.
Temperatures between 38°C and 40°C are normally tolerated
by adults but the ideal temperature is 35-36°C. The electric
heater is provided with dual electronic safety device (hardware
- software).
- Tolerability to hot water varies from person to person.
Pregnant women and small children must not use the spa
without first consulting a doctor; in any case the water tem-
perature must have a temperature of less than 38°C.
- Be very careful if you are alone when using the spa. Pro-
longed immersion in warm water may cause nausea, dizzi-
ness and fainting. If you intend to use the spa for more than
10-15 minutes, a lower water temperature must be set. This
applies also to children.
- Always have a shower before entering the water.
- The cover provided features a lock with key to prevent per-
sons accidentally falling into the spa.
CAUTION
The cover is not designed to withstand weights. Do not
sit, walk or lie on the cover. Do not place objects on it.
- Persons with heart conditions, diabetes, high or low
blood pressure or other health problems must not use
the spa without first consulting their doctor.
- Do not use the spa after drinking alcohol, taking drugs
or medicines that cause drowsiness or that can
raise/lower the blood pressure.
- Do not use the spa in extreme weather conditions (dur-
ing storms etc.).
- Persons under medical care must consult a doctor before
using the spa as some medicines can cause drowsiness,
affect the heartbeat, blood pressure and circulation.
