Safety
information
The thermo-stove must be installed by authorised personnel and tested before use by a technician trained by the manufacturer. Please
carefully read this use and maintenance manual before installing and starting the thermo-stove. Should you need any clarifications, please
contact the closest Aico S.p.A. reseller.
The thermo-stove is controlled by an electronic board that allows completely automatic and controlled combustion: its control unit adjusts
the switch-on phase, power levels and shut-down phase, ensuring safe operation.
Most of the ashes fall into the ash drawer. Daily check that the brazier is clean; on the market there are different quality pallets that may
leave some residue that is difficult to remove.
The glass is equipped with a special air current for self-cleaning: however, it is not possible to avoid a slight grey coating on the glass
after a few hours of operation.
The thermo-stove must be fuelled with pellets with a diameter of 6 mm.
CAUTION
•
Prepare the installation area for the thermo-stove according to local, national and European regulations.
•
The thermo-stove must be placed inside living environments, never outdoors.
•
The thermo-stove must only be fuelled using quality pellets with a diameter of 6 mm, as described in the dedicated chapter.
It cannot be fuelled with traditional wood.
•
It is prohibited to use the thermo-stove as an incinerator. FIRE HAZARD!!!
•
Installation, electrical connection, operational verification and maintenance must be carried out by qualified and authorised
personnel.
•
Incorrect installation or poor maintenance (that does not comply with the instructions provided in this booklet) may result in
damage to people or property. In this condition Aico S.p.A. is lifted from any civil or penal liability.
•
Before performing the electrical connection of the thermo-stove, the exhaust pipes (specific for pellet stoves, not made of aluminium)
must have been fully connected to the chimney.
•
The protection grille located inside the pellet tank must never be removed.
•
There must be enough air exchange in the room where the thermo-stove is installed (UNI10683:2012 standard).
•
Never open the thermo-stove door during operation. FIRE HAZARD!!!
•
It is prohibited to use the thermo-stove with the door open or the glass broken. FIRE HAZARD!!!
•
When the thermo-stove is on, there is significant overheating of the surfaces, glass parts, handle and piping: during operation, these
parts must only be touched using suitable protections.
•
Do not start the thermo-stove without first completing the daily inspection as described in the MAINTENANCE chapter of
this instruction manual.
•
Never dry linen on the thermo-stove. Any drying racks or the like must be kept at a safe distance from the thermo-stove.
FIRE HAZARD!!!
•
Carefully follow the maintenance schedule.
•
Do not turn off the thermo-stove by disconnecting it from the power mains.
•
Do not clean the thermo-stove until the whole structure and ashes have cooled down completely.
•
Carry out all operations with maximum safety and calm.
•
If there is a fire in the chimney, immediately turn off the thermo-stove using the button on the display that is used to start final cleaning
- WITHOUT DISCONNECTING IT FROM THE POWER MAINS AND WITHOUT USING THE I/0 SWITCH LOCATED BEHIND THE
THERMO-STOVE - and immediately call the Fire department.
•
The thermo-stove MUST BE CONNECTED TO A SINGLE CHIMNEY.
•
The thermo-stove must be installed on a floor with suitable load capacity. If the existing position does not meet this requirement, ap-
propriate measures must be taken (load distribution plate).
•
It must be possible to inspect the chimney for cleaning.

periodic maintenance controls as described in the dedicated chapter.
