RECIPE FOR CHURROS
Ingredients
• 320 grams
of sugar
• 200 ml
of water
• 120 grams
of butter
• 5
eggs
• 140 grams
of flour
• 2.5 teaspoon
cinnamon
• pinch
of salt
Preparation
1. Heat the Churros Maker as directed.
2. Boil 200 ml of water, 120 grams of butter, a pinch of salt, 20 grams of sugar, half a teaspoon of cinnamon.
Turn the heat down and add 140 grams of flour and stir with a spatula until a soft ball forms. Then remove
the pan from the heat.
3. Add one egg at a time and mix the ingredients well. Let the dough stand until it can keep shape (+ -5
minutes).
4. Add the batter in a piping bag (this makes it easier to distribute without spilling on the metal plates) and
spread it in the slots of the preheated Churros maker. Close the lid and bake for 5-10 minutes or until the
Churros are golden brown in color and cooked. Do not forget to turn the device over.
5. Remove the Churros from the Churros maker. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a medium-sized
bowl and spread on the Churros.
RECIPE FOR CHOCOLATE SAUCE
Ingredients
• 100 ml
whipped cream
• 50 ml
of semi-skimmed milk
• 100 grams
of dark chocolate
• 15 grams
of butter or margarine
Preparation
1. Pour the whipped cream and milk into a saucepan, bring to the boil.
2. Put the dark chocolate into pieces in a bowl.
3. Pour the hot whipped cream mixture over the dark chocolate, let it stand for a while and then stir well,
with a whisk.
4. Add the butter and stir well with the whisk to a smooth sauce.
