9.5. Adjusting the aerial
A wire aerial has already been connected to the device for radio reception. Fully un-
wind the aerial and arrange it for optimum reception.
10. Operating the device
You can activate the main play functions on your audio system using the buttons
on the device. In addition to the basic controls, the remote control also provides nu-
merous other options for using all functions of your device.
In this user manual, we refer to the remote control buttons. If reference is made to
the controls on the device itself, this will be clearly indicated.
10.1. Switching on the device/standby
Press the
button to switch on the device.
Press the
button again to switch the device back into standby mode. The
time will be displayed.
10.2. Selecting the operating mode
Press the
button once or several times to run through the operating modes.
The selected operating mode appears in the display:
– DAB DAB radio mode
– FM – FM radio mode
– CD – CD mode
– USB – USB mode
– BT – Bluetooth mode
– AUX – AUX mode
10.3. Audio functions
10.3.1. Volume/mute
To adjust the volume, use the VOL and VOL+ buttons on the remote control or
the VOL/+ controller on the device.
Press
to mute the sound. MUTE appears on the display. Press the button
again to cancel the mute setting. MUTE disappears from the display.
If a device is connected via Bluetooth or if a device is connected to the
AUX IN jack you can also adjust the volume on the devices directly.
