BEFORE FIRST USE

• Check if all accessories are included and if the appliance is not damaged.
• First let water run through the appliance, without adding coffee. To do so, fill
the water tank up to the maximum level, switch on the coffee maker and let the
water run through completely. Dispose of the water and repeat one or two times.
Afterwards, clean the filter, filter holder, carafe and lid of the carafe thoroughly
with warm water.

MAKING COFFEE

1. Open the top cover of the coffee maker and fill the water tank by using the carafe.
The amount of water should not exceed the maximum indication.
2. Make sure that the filter holder is well placed into the appliance.
3. Put the permanent filter or a paper filter into the filter holder
4. Pour the desired amount of coffee into the filter.
5. Close the lid and make sure that it clicks into place.
6. Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the coffee maker. Put it on the keep-warm
plate, under the drip stop.
7. Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/off button. The indicator light
will light up and the coffee maker will start brewing.
