6.3 Handling the rope pull ladder
The rope pull ladder can be adjusted in height by slid-
ing the extension section [A-2] in and out.
Adjusting and locking the rope pull ladder:
first position the rope pull ladder provisionally and set
up on a flat, solid surface.
Adjustment of the rope pull ladder can be carried out
with one hand.
1. Operate the pull rope [G], i.e. pull slightly forwards
and down; the rope pull catch [D] is thereby disen-
gaged from the latched position and the extension
section [A-2] can be moved to another position.
2. After the height adjustment, the rope pull catch [D]
automatically engages in the next possible ladder
rung. The extension section [A-2] is again in a
secured position.
After the adjustment, set up the rope pull ladder on a
smooth, flat surface and secure before using, e.g. tie
up or attach suitable devices to assure stability.
The free / loose end of the pull rope [G] must be
attached on the ladder.
3. After using the extension section [A-2], position it
so that it is safely latched in the lowest position.
