Using the CMT900 drilling template
The CMT900 drilling template is designed for making corner dowel joints for furniture elements, for
boards from 18 to 30mm thick or with 40-50-60mm screws for boards from 18 to 30mm thick, for
Ø3mm and Ø5mm pre-drilled holes for shelf supports and for drilling holes for wood screws and hinge
pivots. These operations require the CMT400-1 adaptor chuck and any cordless or battery drill.
Thanks to the carefully studied design of the drilling template, a wide range of drill bits can be used
for drilling dowel holes with various diameters. The whole system is based on the use of the drilling
template with adaptor chuck on which the drill bit is fitted. The carefully studied construction and
maximum precision of the drilling template and the adaptor chuck enable to obtain unique quality
products.
The following is required to work with the template:
Electric or battery drill
CMT400-1 adaptor chuck
Blind hole drill bits with HW cutting edge (Ø8mm shank)
and HW hinge hole bits (Ø10mm shank)
Drill tips with HW cutting edge and a tightening shank S=8mm
