The screws
are preimpregnated with threadlock. It is essential not to grease them. On

the contrary, after several fittings/refittings it will be necessary to redeposit a drop of normal
thread lock (Loctite blue 243 type).
Cutting the seatpost tube
Putting in your initial position requires recutting the seatpost. It is recommended to first fit 6 of
the 12 millimetric shims② on the seatpost before cutting it. This will allow a subsequent +-6mm
adjustment relative to your defined saddle height.
1 - Introduce the seatpost onto the frame and adjust the horizontal position of the saddle.Make
sure to obtain a setback of your saddle nose relative to the Bottom Bracket close to your final
setback.
2 - Measure the saddle height of the new bicycle, before recutting, with the saddle.
3 - Calculate the recut length "L" according to the operation: L = saddle height on the new bike
- personal saddle height.
4 - Remove the seatpost.
5 – Position a strip of adhesive tape
6 – Insert the cutting tool at position L and tighten the transverse screws to 3 Nm. Clamp the
