There are two types of extension fixings: the «extension supports» (Fig. 23.1) and the «BRIDGE»
(Fig. 23.2).
1- Degrease and clean the expanding part of the clamps in contact with the inside of the
extensions to improve their grip. (Fig. 23.1)
2- Push the extensions in until they stop and orient them in the desired position
3- Tighten the clamp screw with 4mm Allen key to 7 Nm torque.
4- It can be necessary to retighten to the 7 Nm torque after some time has elapsed.
GENERAL TOLERANCES :
Dimension from 0 to 15 : ±0.15
Dimension from 15 to 30 : ±0.20
Beyond : ±0.25
Angles : ±30'
Surfaces finish : 80 grit sand blast
Free of positive metal, voids and porosity
Free of cutting oil and oil residue
CLEAN
