IMPORTANT Always use original cutting means bearing
the code indicated in the "Technical Data".
Given product evolution, the cutting means listed in the 
"Technical Data" table may be replaced in time with oth-
ers having similar interchangeable and operating safety 
features.
4.4 Drive adjustment
On power-driven models, the drive belt tension is obtained 
by adjusting the nut (1) until the indicated measurement (6 
mm) is obtained. 
4.5 Battery recharging (where applicable)
• Electric push-button ignition models
Read the engine instruction manual for instructions regard-
ing autonomy, recharging, reinstating and  maintenance of 
the battery.
5. ATTACHMENTS
WARNING!
For your safety, it is strictly prohibited
to fit any other attachment other than those included
in the following list, as they have been exclusively de-
signed for the model and type of machine you are using.
5.1 Mulching kit (unless provided with
the equipment)
It  chops  the  grass  cuttings  finely  and  leaves  them  on  the 
lawn, instead of collecting them in the grass catcher (only 
on some models).
6. DIAGNOSTICS
What to do if ....
Problem description
1. The petrol-driven lawnmower doesn't work
No oil or fuel in the engine
The spark plug and filter 
are not in good condition
The lawnmower's fuel tank 
was not emptied at the end 
of the previous season
2. The cut grass is not collected in the grass catcher
The cutting means has 
received a knock
The inside of the chassis
is dirty
Corrective Action
Check the oil and petrol 
levels
Clean the spark plug and 
filter which may be dirty or 
replace them
The float may be blocked; 
tilt the lawnmower on the 
carburettor side
Have the cutting means 
sharpened or replace it.
Check the fins that direct 
the grass towards the 
grass catcher
Clean the inside of the
chassis to ease the grass
discharge towards the 
grass catcher
The cutting means is not in 
good condition
4. The machine starts to vibrate abnormally
Damaged or loose parts
For any doubts or problems, please do not hesitate to con-
tact your nearest Customer Service Centre or Your Dealer.

3. Mowing is difficult
Have the cutting means 
sharpened or replace it
Stop the machine and 
disconnect the spark plug 
cable
Inspect for damage
Check for and tighten any 
loose parts
Have all checks, repair 
work and replacements 
carried out by a specialized 
Centre only.
