5.2 Mounting in the Modular Prosthesis
CAUTION
Improper assembly of the screw connections
Fall due to breakage or loosening of the screw connections
► Clean the threads before every installation.
► Apply the installation torques provided.
► Observe the instructions for securing the screw connections and the
use of the correct length.
Mounting
Recommended tools and materials:

1) For definitive mounting:
Use Loctite® to secure the set screws (see Fig. 4, Item 1).
2) Turn in the set screws.
3) For trial fitting:
Use the torque wrench to tighten the set screws (10 Nm).
For definitive mounting:
Pre-tighten the set screws with the torque wrench (10 Nm) and then
tighten (15 Nm - see Fig. 6).
4) Use suitable set screws to replace any set screws that extend out too far
or screw in too deeply (see selection table).

Adjustment
The 4 set screws can be used to make static adjustments at any time during
alignment, trial fittings, and even after the prosthesis is finished.
