With this heated underblanket HU A61 you have purchased a quality product by
MEDISANA. To ensure the best results and long-term satisfaction with your
MEDISANA heated underblanket, we recommend that you read the following
operating and maintenance instructions carefully.

2.1 Items supplied and packaging

Please check first of all that the unit is complete and is not damaged in any way. If in
doubt, do not use the appliance. Send it to a service point.
The following parts are included:

1 Instruction manual
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packag-
ing material no longer required. If you notice any transport damage during un-
packing, please contact your dealer without delay.
WARNING
Please ensure that the polythene packing is kept away from the
reach of children! Risk of suffocation!
2.2 Operation
You can use the MEDISANA heated underblanket HU A61 to gently warm and relax
your whole body. Using the blanket stimulates the circulation in areas of tense
muscle and promotes a sense of well being after a strenuous day. The heated
underblanket provides a pleasantly warm bed, allowing you to relax and get to
sleep quickly.
Spread the blanket out flat on top of the mattress. Four fastening loops are located on the
lengths of the electric underblanket. Use these loops to attach the electric underblanket to
the mattress using a suitable band or cord. Make sure that the electric underblanket is
firmly strapped to the mattress in both directions and that it will not crease while it is being
used. Spread a bedsheet on top of it. This allows the underblanket to release its heat in
the best way possible. Check it is in the correct position before going to bed!
When using the blanket, you must make sure that it does not get creased, folded
or rucked up. The blanket may only be used when it is spread out flat. The heated
underblanket features an electric temperature control that regulates the tempera-
ture according to the chosen setting.
