Resolution Setting
• Press the menu key in either digital photo,
digital video or self-timer mode in order to
open the settings menu.
• Select the required resolution (3M =
2048×1536, 2M = 1600×1200, 1M =
1280×1024, VGA = 640×480, QVGA =
320x240 for videos) with the arrow keys
(
,
).
• Press „OK" to confi rm and „Snap" to leave
the menu.
• Press „Snap" to leave the menu without
changes.
The resolution depends on the type of picture
that you want. The higher the resolution, the
better the picture quality. However, the re-
quired storage space is also higher, so fewer
pictures can be saved. It is best to use the
available fl ash memory with a carefully adjust-
ed picture resolution.
As listed below, you have fi ve options for the
picture resolution (selection options). If you
would like better image quality, select a higher
resolution. The possible number of pictures
depends on the circumstances (See table.)

• In the digital photo or self-timer modes, se-
lect the menu key (Menu) in order to open
the light settings menu.
