9. REMOTE ACCESS
DDNS:
-Select the "Enable" checkbox.
-Choose the service provider: Jmdvr, 3322 or dyndns.
-Enter the user, password, and domain name.
-Press "Confirm" to save your changes.
3. Enable ActiveX components on your computer (if they are not enabled, you may not
monitor the DVR). Follow the following path in configuration:
Internet Options > Security > Internet > custom level > enable (Active X controls).
4. For local monitoring (LAN), enter the IP address that you assigned to the DVR in the
Internet Explorer window.
-To monitor remote mode (WAN), enter public IP address in the browser.
Note: in case you have selected in the HTTP port field a different value than 80, enter the
public IP address followed by a colon and the port number that you assigned, for example:
http://189.254.6.194:87/
Check with your Internet provider for your public IP.
5. Once the DVR home screen appears, enter the username "admin" and press "OK" to
enter. (It is not necessary to enter a password if the user is the default factory).
