18.1 Troubleshooting Garden Pruner or Battery

Condition LEDs on garden

Garden pruner does 1 LED flashes

Remedy
► Charge the battery.
► Allow battery to cool down or warm up.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean contacts in battery compartment.
► Fit the battery.
► Switch on the garden pruner.
► If 3 LEDs continue to flash red: Do not use the
garden pruner and contact your STIHL dealer for
assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow garden pruner to cool down.
► Remove battery and insert it again.
► Switch on the garden pruner.
► If 4 LEDs continue to flash red: Do not use the
battery and contact your STIHL dealer for
assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean contacts in battery compartment.
► Fit the battery.
► Allow the garden pruner or battery to dry.
► Clean the garden pruner, @ 15.1.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow garden pruner to cool down.
► Remove battery and insert it again.
► Switch on the garden pruner.
