Setting the CAM : Setting Memory
Formatting the Memory
You can format the internal memory or the external memory to erase all
files.
1. Move [POWER/MODE Selector] down to turn on
the CAM.
N The Video Record screen appears.
2. Move [POWER/MODE Selector] down again to select
System Settings
mode and press the [OK] button.
N The system is automatically converted into the
selected mode in two seconds even when the [OK]
button is not pressed.
N The System Settings menu appears.
3. Move the [W/T] button to select <Memory> and
press the [√] button.
4. Move the [W/T] button to select <Format> and press
the [√] button.
N If you didn't insert Memory Card, you cannot select
'External'.
5. Move the [W/T] button to select the desired setting
and press the [OK] button.
N Internal: Format the internal memory.
If you select <Internal>, the message is
displayed to confirm.
N External: Format the external memory.
If you select <External>, the message is
displayed to confirm.
6. Press the [OK] button to format.
N Select <Cancel> to cancel formatting.
Notes
✤ If you select [œ ] button in the menu, the previous
menu appears.
✤ After you finish setting, press the [Record/Stop] button to
exit from the menu screen.
✤ No guarantee can be provided to the Memory Card not
formatted on this CAM.
Make sure to format the memory card on the CAM.
✤ The former information can not be restored after
formatting.

1. Baje el [Selector POWER/MODE] (ENC./MODO) para
encender la CAM.
N Aparece la pantalla Video Record (Grab. vídeo).
2. Baje de nuevo el [Selector POWER/MODE]
(ENC./MODO) para seleccionar el modo
Settings (Ajustes sistema)
y pulse el botón [OK].
N El sistema cambia automáticamente al modo
seleccionado en dos segundos incluso aunque no
se pulse el botón [OK].
N Aparece el menú System Settings (Ajustes
sistema).
3. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar <Memory>
(Memoria) y pulse el botón [√].
4. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar <Format>
(Formato) y pulse el botón [√].
N Si no ha introducido la tarjeta de memoria, no
puede seleccionar 'External' (Externa).
5. Mueva el botón [W/T] para seleccionar el ajuste que
desea y pulse el botón [OK].
N Internal (Interna): da formato a la memoria
interna. Si selecciona <Internal> (Interna), aparece
el mensaje de confirmación.
N External (Externa): da formato a la memoria
externa. Si selecciona <External> (Externa),
aparece el mensaje de confirmación.
6. Pulse el botón [OK] para formatear.
N Seleccione <Cancel> para cancelar el formateo.
Notas
✤ Si selecciona el botón [œ ] en el menú, aparece el menú
anterior.
✤ Tras finalizar el ajuste, pulse el botón [Record/Stop]
(Grabar/Detener) para salir de la pantalla menu (menú).
✤ No puede darse ninguna garantía a la tarjeta de
memoria que no se formatee en esta CAM. Asegúrese
de formatear la tarjeta de memoria en la CAM.
✤ La información anterior no se puede recuperar tras el
formateo.
