3. Remove the water tank. The appliance empty indicator light will go on. Empty the water tank and
the drip tray.
4. When the programme is finished, the appliance will automatically turn off.
! If you want to use the appliance again afterwards, first make a cup of hot water.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

Problem
The appliance is not working.
No or late response when
pressing the keys on the control
panel.
The coffee is not warm enough.
Coffee does not come out of the
spout.
The first cup of coffee is of poor
quality.
The coffee has does not have a
creamy layer.
The control panel keys are not
sensitive.
It takes a long time for the
appliance to heat up.
Despite the water tank being
empty/not installed, the
indicator light does not come
on.

Cause
The appliance is not connected
to the electricity.
· The appliance is electro-
magnetically restricted.
· The control panel is dirty.
· The cups have not been pre-
heated.
· The brewing unit is still cold.
It may be that the appliance
emptying function was the last
used setting.
The first grinding session does
not provide enough ground
coffee.
The coffee beans are not fresh.
The touch keys must be
operated from the front.
Lime has accumulated in the
appliance.
The sensor, near the water tank
connector, is wet.

Solution
Make sure the electrical cable is
properly connected and that the
plug is plugged in.
· Remove the plug from the
socket and try again a few
minutes later.
· Clean the control panel with
the supplied cleaning cloth.
· Heat the cups.
· Rinse the appliance 3 times
to heat the brewing unit.
Press the hot water key so hot
water comes out of the spout.
Drain the coffee. The following
coffees are good quality.
Replace the coffee beans.
Touch the keys from the front
on the lower part of the icons of
the keys.
Descale the appliance.
Wipe off the water around the
water tank connection.
