Charging process

When the trimmer is delivered it is not ready to be battery operated yet.
The trimmer should only be operated using the mains cable if the battery is
dead.
The EXC20 takes approx. 12 hours to charge, the EXC21 approx. 1 hour.
The LED charge indicator lights up during the charging process (depending on the
charge).
Lit up blue Charging process (EXC20)
Flashing green Fast charging (EXC21)
Lit up green Battery charged (EXC21)
Charging the trimmer
Plug the mains adaptor into the socket and the mains adaptor's connecting plug into
the trimmer (Figure B).
If you have purchased a trimmer with charging station, you can also charge the trim-
mer on the charging station. The mains adaptor's connecting plug must be inserted
into the charging station so that the contact surfaces are pointing downwards (Figure
C). Place the machine in the charging station to charge as shown in Figure D.
