3.4 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

ACCESS TO THE FLAME DETECTOR
Remove the control box from the burn-
er, undo the connector (C, fig. 11) and
remove the flame detector (B) from its
seat.

WARNING:
Do not swap neutral and phase over, follow the diagram
shown carefully and make a good earth connection.
The cross section of the wires must be at least 1 sq. mm.
(Unless requested otherwise by local standards and legislation).
The electrical wiring carried out by the installer must comply with
the rules in force in the country.
NOTE
The burners have been approved for intermittent operation.
This means that they must stop once every twenty four hours to permit
the electrical control box to check its efficiency at start up. Normally the
boiler's limit thermostat (TL) ensures the stopping of the burner. If this is
not the case, it is necessary to apply in series with the (TL) a timer switch
that turns off the burner at least once every twenty-four hours.
TESTING: Check the shutdown of the burner by opening the thermo-
stats.

To remove the control box from the burner undo the
screw (A) and pull in the direction of the arrow after
undoing all the components.
THIS OPERATION MUST BE PERFORMED WITH
THE BURNER TURNED OFF AND MAINS POWER
DISCONNECTED.
