inspection or storage, shut off the power source,
disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark
plug and make sure all moving parts have come
to a stop. Allow the hedge trimmer to cool before
making any inspections, adjustments, etc.
b) Store the hedge trimmer where the fuel vapour will
not reach an open flame or spark. Always allow the
hedge trimmer to cool down before storing.
c) When transporting or storing the hedge trimmer,
always fit the cutting device transport guard.
d) Keep all nuts and screws tight to be sure the equip-
ment is in safe working condition.
e) Allow the engine to cool before storing in any
enclosure.
f) To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, si-
lencer and petrol storage area free of vegetative
material and excessive grease.
g) Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
h) If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be
done outdoors.
i) Always clean and maintenance before storage.
j) Never disassembly the guards for cutting attach-
ments.
k) Always store the metal blade in cool and dry place,
never use rusted blade. It may cause serous injure
during working.
INTENDED USE
Cutting and trimming of hedges, bushes and ornamental
shrubs in the domestic sector only. All other uses are
expressly excluded.
Tools for private and hobby gardens are not suitable for
use in public facilities, parks and sport centers, along
roadways, on farms or in the forestry sector.
