LIKELY CAUSE
–    N o fuel
–    O ld fuel or deposits in the fuel tank
– Incorrect starting procedure
–      S park plug disconnected
– The spark plug is wet or the spark plug 
electrodes are dirty or placed
inadequately
–      A ir filter clogged
–      I ncorrect oil for the season
–        F uel evaporation in the carburetor 
(vapor lock) due to high temperatures
–      F ault in carburation
–      H ard starting
–      D irty electrodes or incorrect gap
– The spark plug cap is inserted
incorrectly
–      A ir filter clogged
– Throttle trigger in «CHOKE» position
–      F ault in carburation
–      F ault in ignition
–      A ir filter clogged
–      F ault in carburation
SOLUTION
–      C heck and top up (see 5.1.3)
–    E mpty the fuel tank and add fresh fuel
– Perform the starting procedure
correctly (see 5.2)
–      C heck that the spark plug cap fits well 
over the plug terminals (see 5.1.4)
–      C heck (see 6.6)
–      C heck and clean (see 6.5)
–        R eplace with proper oil (see 6.3)
–        W ait for a few minutes then start again 
(see 5.3)
–        C ontact a Licensed Service Centre
–        C ontact a Licensed Service Centre
–      C heck (see 6.6)
– Check that the cap is fitted correctly 
(see 5.1.4)
–      C heck and clean (see  6.5)
– Move the lever to the «FAST» position
