Troubleshooting
SAW WILL NOT START
1. Saw not plugged in.
2. Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped.
3. Cord damaged.
SAW MAKES UNSATISFACTORY CUTS
1. Dull blade.
2. Blade mounted backwards
3. Gum or pitch on blade.
4. Incorrect blade for work being done.
BLADE DOES NOT COME UP TO SPEED
1. Extension cord too light or too long.
2. Low house current
3. Belt worn or broken.
MACHINE VIBRATES EXCESSIVELY
1. Saw on uneven floor
2. Damaged saw blade.
3. Saw not secured to floor.
4. Damaged belt.
INACCURATE MITER CUTS
1. Miter gauge not adjusted correctly
2. Miter gauge not square to blade.
3. Blade not perpendicular to table.
4. Workpiece moving.
MATERIAL BINDING DURING CUT
1. Cutting bowed material.
2. Fence not aligned parallel to blade.
3. Splitter not aligned with blade.
WHAT TO DO
1. Plug in saw.
2. Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
3. Have cord replaced by authorized
service center.

3. Remove blade and clean with turpen-
tine and coarse steel wool or house-
hold oven cleaner.

1. Fence drags or hops as it is moved.
2. Rear cap/clip interferes rear of saw.
FENCE HITS TABLE TOP OR GAP
CHANGES AS IT IS SLID ALONG THE

1. Front and/or rear rail not parallel to table.
2. Support tables not aligned with table top

HEIGHT OR BEVEL CRANKS
