power supply. The heating element coil is contained in
the tip for super-fast heat-up. This unique combination
of the latest soldering technologies provides incredible
performance when compared with traditional soldering
tools.
Safety Notes
1. Tip is HOT! Do not touch the tip or you may get
severely burned.
2. Do not immerse in water!
3. Allow the tip to cool after use before storing away.
4. Move the power switch to the "Off" position when
not in use.
5. Remove all inflammable objects from the proximity of
the hot soldering tool.
6. Use suitable protective clothing. Risk of burns from
liquid solder.
7. Never leave the hot soldering iron unsupervised.
8. Never work on voltage-carrying parts.
Operating Instructions
1. Make sure the tip is securely installed.
2. Install the power transformer into the socket at
the back of the soldering iron.
Plug the transformer into a 230-volt outlet.
3. Slide the On/Off switch to the "On" position. The
iron heats up to solder melting point in about 35
seconds. The green LED will illuminate when the
iron is ready to use.
4. Hold the soldering iron like a pen.
5. After soldering, slide the switch to the "OFF"
position. The tool is designed to safely rest on
the workbench without the use of a separate stand.
Maintenance
1. To change the tip, pull the tip from the socket
using the rubber grip pad built into the tip. Use
caution when the tip is hot. Install the new tip by
plugging it into the tip socket.
2. The soldering tip is iron plated for long life. Do
and
not file the tip, as filing will destroy the plating.
3. Avoid unintentional starting.
4. Always have your soldering tool repaired by a
qualified electrician.
