Operation and maintenance
Remove all packaging of the device.
Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the main voltage of your home.
Rated voltage : AC220-240V 50Hz.
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
Before first use
We recommend that you clean the grillplates (No.4) carefully with a damp cloth before the first
use. The machine may give off a little smoke when used for the first time. This is normal for
new heating elements and will stop after a short time.
Use
Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Completely unroll the cord and
insert the plug in the socket. The red indicator light (No. 3) and the green indicator light
(No. 2) will now go on. Allow the plates to heat up; when the green indicator light (No.4) goes
off, the plates will be at the proper temperature. Now place the ingredients being prepared on
the bottom plate and close the grill by pressing the handle (No. 1) downward. The upper plate
tilts in order to provide even pressure. Normal preparation time is 5-8 minutes; the exact time
depends on the dish and your personal taste. Remove the ingredients with a wooden or plastic
spatula to prevent damage to the non-stick coating.
Cleaning
Unplug the power cord and allow the device to cool down. Clean the grillplates (No. 4) with a
damp cloth or a soft brush. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive
cleaners, steel wool or a sanding sponge, which could damage the device. Do not immerse the
device in water or another liquid. Do not place the device in the dishwasher to clean.
Storage
Once the appliance has been cleaned after use, it can be stored. First close the health grill.
Then push back the storage clamp on the left-hand side of the handle. The upper and lower
plates are then clamped together so that the appliance can no longer open. Place the grill on
a flat and sturdy surface. It can be placed upright, as it is during use, but also on the back,
with the handle on top.
