Caution!
When filling up fog fluid, the unit must not be
connected to the mains. First disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket!
The unit is not splashproof. If fluid penetrates the
inside of the housing by accident, do not set the fog
machine into operation but have it first checked
and cleaned by skilled, authorized personnel.
1) Screw off the tank cap (1).
2) When filling up fog fluid, never exceed the upper
mark next to the window (2). If fluid should flow
beside the tank, immediately wipe it off with a dry
cloth so that it will not get inside the unit.
3) Tightly close the tank.
4.2 Setting-up and operation of the unit
In any case observe the following items:
To avoid heat accumulation within the unit, the
place of setting-up must be chosen so that a suffi-
cient air circulation is ensured during operation.
The vents at the housing must not be covered (e. g.
by curtains). Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm to
other objects.
During operation the output nozzle for the fog
becomes very hot. Do not touch it and pay atten-
tion that it has a sufficient distance (at least 50 cm)
to easily inflammable materials or materials sensi-
tive to heat.
Adjust the unit so that the hot fog stream will not
directly hit persons – risk of burning!
Never operate the fog machine without fog fluid.
There will be a risk of fire by overheating. In addi-
tion, the unit may be damaged. Always observe the
fluid level indication (2).
1) Remove the complete packing material. There
must be no packing remnants at the output nozzle
for the fog.
2) The fog machine must sufficiently be filled with fog
fluid. Check the indication of the fluid level (2) and
fill up the tank with fog fluid, if necessary – see
chapter 4.1.
3) Place the unit on a horizontal surface so that no
fluid may leak.
4) Connect the plug (8) of the remote control to the
jack (3) on the rear side of the fog machine.
5) Connect the unit via the mains cable (5) to a socket
(230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, it is switched on. The fog
machine heats up for approx. 5 minutes. Only then
fog may be emitted.
6) As soon as the indication (6) on the remote control
lights up, the heating-up is finished and fog can
be emitted. For this purpose keep the button (7) on
the remote control pressed. As long as it is kept
pressed, fog will be emitted.

Caution! By subsequent dripping of the fluid, the
unit may still emit some fog even after the
button has been released.
7) Fog can continuously be emitted until the indication
(6) is extinguished. Then the unit must heat up again.
During heating-up no fog can be emitted. Even if no
fog is emitted, the unit must heat up in the meantime.
8) To switch off the fog machine after operation, dis-
connect the plug of the mains cable (5) from the
mains socket.
Caution! By subsequent dripping of fluid, the unit
may still emit fog shortly for a while even
after switching off.
9) For a transport of the unit let it cool down first and
completely empty the tank!
5 Maintenance
For outside cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water which may penetrate the
unit.
Fog machines are susceptible to clogging due to the
viscid fog fluid and the high evaporating temperatures.
Therefore, it is recommended to have a cleaning fluid
consisting of 80 % distilled water and 20 % vinegar run
through the unit after approx. 40 operating hours.
1) To switch off the fog machine, disconnect the plug
of the mains cable (5) from the mains socket.
2) Completely empty the tank.
3) Remove deposits at the output nozzle for the fog
with vinegar. (Caution: The nozzle becomes very
hot during operation and has to cool down suffi-
ciently after operation!)
4) Fill the tank with cleaning liquid as indicated.
5) It is recommended to place the fog machine so that
the fog can stream outside through an open win-
dow or door. Operate the unit with the cleaning
liquid until the tank is empty.
