because they do not contain impact resistant safety
glass. Also, use a face mask for additional safety and
wear a dust mask if the cutting operation produces
dust.
10. ALWAYS SECURE THE WORKPIECE TO THE
FENCE OR THE TABLE. Use clamps or a vise to hold
the workpiece in place. It is safer than using your hand

injury.
23. MAKE WORKSHOP KID PROOF with padlocks,
master switches, or by removing starter keys.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
1. Ensure the switch is in the off position before
inserting battery pack. Inserting the battery pack
into power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
2. Recharge only with the charger specifi ed by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a risk of fi re when used
with another battery pack.

4. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away

that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fi re.
5. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, fl ush with water. If liquid

Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
