7. INSTALLATION

1. Shaft assembly:
1.1. RGG 25 / RGE 1000:
• Before beginning assembly, remove the spark plug connector (RGG 25 model);
• Your trimmer is supplied in two parts. The top part has the motor and the other has the trimmer head. To join
both parts: Remove the protection cap from the lower shaft;
• Align the lower shaft with the clamp so that the slot is orientated to the slot in the clamp (Figura 7.1).
• Press the locking lever 11 and insert the lower shaft into the upper shaft. The locking lever must engage in
the slot of the lower shaft. Secure the connection by tightening the locking knob (Figura 7.2).
1.2. AGE 250:
• Your device is delivered in two parts. The upper part contains the handle and the lower contains the trimmer
head and engine. For your equipment to work properly, these parts must be connected. For this, remove the
protective cap from the lower shaft.
• Align the lower shaft so that it engages perfectly with the upper shaft (Figure 7.3).
• Insert and tighten the screws, as instructed in Figure 7.4.
2. Safety guards assemble:
2.1. RGG 25:
• Turn support fl ange C until the slots are aligned with the hole in the trimmer head.
• If you intend to use the product with cutter blade D, remove the screws and washers from the outside edge
of the trimmer guard B and proceed according to section 3 - Assembling trimmer head.
• If you intend to use the product with the nylon spool I, you need to assemble the nylon spool guard H. Re-
move the screws and washers from the outside edge of trimmer guard B, place the nylon spool guard and
secure it using the screws and washers previously removed (Figure 7.5). Then proceed according to section
3 - Assembling trimmer head.
