Warning! Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as
they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-
rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations. Keep batteries away from
children.
Caution! Remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used
for a long time. Old batteries can begin to leak and damage the
device.
When the red indicator LED [2] lights up continuously, the batteries
are low. In that case, replace the batteries immediately.
Remove the screw from the bottom of the alarm cover and take

off the cover [A].
Insert 3 identical 1.5 V AAA batteries according to the polarity

markings inside the battery compartment.
When the last battery is inserted, the alarm beeps to indicate
that the batteries are installed correctly.
Place the cover back and fix it with the screw.

Caution! Each time you replace the batteries, you must reprogram
the security code.
6.2
Programming the Security Code
The default security code is 1234. It is recommended to modify this
code at the first use. Follow these rules:
• The code must be 4 digits long.
• The first digit cannot be 4.
• The first three digits cannot be 111 or 222.
To program the security code, proceed as follows:
Type the default security code (1234) using the keypad [3]. The

LED [2] flashes.
Within 30 seconds, type a new 4-digit code. The LED flashes

three times to indicate that the new code is set successfully. The
alarm returns to the disarmed mode.
Note: if you type an invalid code, or if you do not complete the
procedure within 30 seconds, the code is not modified and the alarm
goes into disarmed mode.
Caution! Each time you replace the batteries, you must reprogram
the security code.
