Disposal of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. After use, you
can return used batteries to local facilities (e. g. in retail outlets or
community collection points). Please help to protect nature and our
environment against harmful contamination.

12 CLEANING

We have designed all elements and surfaces of our products
to ensure that they are simple and easy to care for.
Cleaning the lenses
The special KAHLES external surface coating makes lenses
and eyepiece lenses much easier to clean. To guarantee
long-lasting optical quality of the lenses, keep the glass
surfaces free from dirt, oil, and grease at all times. To clean
the lenses, first remove larger particles using a lens brush. For
subsequent thorough cleaning, we recommend that you use
only the KAHLES cleaning cloth supplied *.
Cleaning the metal components
To clean the metal components and the housing, we
recommend that you use a soft, clean cloth or special care
products (Oil, Sprays, etc.) which are destined for this
purpose.
To prevent corrosion, keep all metal parts clean and slightly
oiled at all times.
* The KAHLES cleaning cloth supplied should only be used
to clean the sensitive lenses and the eyepiece. Always
ensure the microfibre cloth is kept clean. Particles of dirt
may damage the lens surface. If the cleaning cloth
becomes dirty, it can be washed in lukewarm soapy water
and allowed to dry naturally. Please use only our KAHLES
cleaning cloth or specific lens cleaning cloths to clean the
glass surfaces.

13 STORAGE

We recommend that you store your rifle scope in a dry, dark
place. If the rifle scope becomes wet or moist, it must be
dried prior to storage.
