5 ELEVATION AND WINDAGE ADJUSTMENT

To guarantee optimum functioning, we recommend that you
have your rifle scope fitted professionally by your gunsmith
or a fitting expert.
After the rifle scope has been correctly fitted and bore
sighted by a professional gunsmith, you will need to sight in
your rifle and rifle scope. Sight in the rifle scope to your
specific distance and desired point of impact by turning the
elevation and windage adjustment turrets.
To make the required settings, first remove the screw caps on
the adjustment turrets. This enables you to access the
protected adjustment wheels and index rings (index scale).
The click-to-indicate aim-point correction and the correction
direction are engraved on the elevation or windage turret.
Once you have established the preferred sighting-in point,
you can then set the elevation and windage adjustment
turrets to this value ("zeroing").
Caution – never apply strong mechanical forces when making
adjustments to the adjustment turrets!

6 ZERO-POINT ADJUSTMENT OF THE DIALS

Once the rifle scope has been aligned to the weapon, you
can make this basic setting the zero setting for the device. To
do this, proceed as follows:
1. Hold the adjustment wheel (2) in place with your fingers
2. Using a coin or an empty cartridge case, turn the locking
screw (1) anti-clockwise
18
3. Loosen the locking screw
until the index ring (3)
moves freely and can be
turned without clicking
4. Turn the index ring (3) until
the 0 on the scale is
aligned with the index
marking on the rifle scope
5. Hold the index ring (3)
and the adjustment wheel (2) together, and tighten the
locking screw in a clockwise direction. To avoid adjust-
ment errors, pay careful attention to ensure that during
this process, there is no unintentional turning (you should
hear no audible clicks)
6. Your rifle scope is now adjusted or "zeroed" to your
sighting-in point.
Caution – never apply strong mechanical forces when making
adjustments to the adjustment turrets!

7 MECHANICAL CENTRING

On delivery, the integrated reticle is mechanically centred
(to optical centre). If you would like to reset it to factory
settings, proceed as follows:
1. Turn the elevation or windage adjustment wheel in one
direction until you come to a mechanical stop.
2. Now turn the adjustment wheel in the opposite direction
while counting the total number of clicks until it reaches a
mechanical stop.
3. Half of this number of clicks is the precise centre position
of the reticle.
4. Repeat this procedure for the second adjustment turret to
find the absolute centre (vertical and lateral).
Caution – never apply strong mechanical forces when making
adjustments to the adjustment turrets!
