APPLICATIONS
For charging the HITACHI batteries types BSL14, BSL18, BSL25 and BSL36 series and back
pack power supply type BL36200.
CHARGING METHOD
NOTE: Before plugging into the receptacle, make sure the following points.
○ The power source voltage is stated on the nameplate.
○ The cord is not damaged.
WARNING
: Do not charge at voltage higher than indicated on the nameplate.
1.
Insert the plug of battery charger into the receptacle.
When the plug of battery charger has been inserted into the receptacle, pilot lamp will blink
in red. (At 1-second intervals)
2. lnsert the battery or adaptor of back pack power supply into the charger.
<Charging the Battery>
Firmly insert the battery into the charger until the line is visible, as shown in Fig. 3.
<Charging the Back Pack Power Supply>
Place the back pack power supply in a horizontal position and turn it on by the switch on
the side. Firmly insert the adaptor into the charger until the line is visible, as shown in
Fig. 3.
NOTE:
If the pilot lamp of the charger lights in green (high temperature standby status) when the
adaptor is inserted into the charger, check that the battery status lamp on the back pack
power supply control panel is lit in red.
If the battery status lamp is OFF, the back pack power supply switch may be turned OFF.
If the back pack power supply switch is turned OFF, disconnect the adaptor and turn on the
switch before reinserting the adaptor.

If charged at voltage higher than indicated on the nameplate, the
charger will burn up.
WARNING
: Do not use the electrical cord if damaged. Have
it repaired immediately.
