NOTE! Always check main filter for damage when
replacing the control filter.
1 . Disconnect the top piping of the filter housing and
open top cover .
2 . Remove and put the old filter in a large plastic bag,
or wrap in plastic foil to avoid dust spreading .
3 . Fit a new filter cartridge. Ensure that the filter
cartridge is centred and that the rubber seal on the
housing is intact .
4 . Close the top cover and reconnect the pipes .
5 . Check the earth connection between the control
filter and GND1.

Explosion relief panel

The explosion relief panel is designed to rupture and
open at very low over pressures and must be handled
with great care . Never poke/press or lean against the
relief panel and do not bend the frame securing the
panel .
Inspect the explosion relief panel with the vacuum unit
switched off. Replace it at the first sign of corrosion
or other damage . No other preventive maintenance is
required .
WARNING! Relief panel must be kept free
from debris such as snow, ice, leaves and
other items that might block or prevent explo-
sion panel from opening .

Replacing internal fuse

WARNING! The FlexFilter EX should not be
in operation when replacing the fuse .
WARNING! Ensure that no explosive atmos-
phere and/or dust layers are present when
cleaning, servicing or inspecting the FlexFil-
ter EX
The control box inside the leg, has a fused terminal for
the sensors (see picture no . 17 / 4) . Remove the cover
(see picture no. 18 / B). Open the control box and open
the terminal to replace the fuse .
