3.3. Mounting the wheels
All the EPC cabinets have embeded nuts where the wheels
can be attached thus easing the transport for mobile systems. The
WH 200 ECLER kit is composed by two fixed wheels and two
free-wheels. Place the former on the nearest position to the base of
the cabinet in order to ease their positioning when standing up the
cabinet.
3.4. Connecting the system
The EPC200 processor combined with the EPC acoustic cabinets must be powered with
the fourth generation ECLER amplifiers because they are the only ones that accept the AC3 anticlip
module
Mains supply. Although the PAM2000 fourth generation SPM amplifiers are equipped
with a "soft start", properly dimensioned mains wiring and magnetothermal switch must be
provided (220VAC values):
Audio signals. The interconnections will be done accordingly to diagram 7.2. keeping in
mind the following points:
A- All the input and output signals of the processor are balanced with XLR 3 connectors
and the pin assignment is as follows:
B- Connection to the acoustic cabinet. This connection must be done with, at least, 3mm
cable ( we recommend 6mm). The amplifier output and the acoustic cabinet input connectors are 4
pin SPEAK ON (see diagram 7.2). The mid-treble cabinet will be connected as follows:
The bass reinforcement cabinet only uses pin 1+ and pin 1-.
3.5. Interconnecting two or more systems
Up to 20 EPC5002 systems can be interconnected to one EPC200 processor thanks to
the "stack out" outputs of the SPM amplifiers. These outputs must be connected to identical
amplifiers. IMPORTANT: all the stacked amplifiers must be equipped with the ANTICLIP module and
adjusted to the same THD value than the amplifiers directly connected to the EPC200.
