Maintenance and inspection
The expected lifetime of the sling is 2 - 4 years, depending on type of use, storage, regular
maintenance, servicing and cleaning/washing.
3.1
Regular maintenance and inspection
The maintenance activities to ensure a good condition for your sling are described below:

For every use and after washing
Check the mounting straps on wear and damage
Check the zooms on wear and damage
Check the handles on wear and damage
Check the loops on wear and damage
Check the backrest on wear and damage
3.2
Shipping and storage
The shipping and storage shall be according following instructions:
•
Store in a dry place (between +5 °C / +41°F and +45 °C / +113°F).
•
The relative humidity of the air should be between 30% and 70%.
Components must be shipped or stored without being subjected to damage (not
•
clamping between something, be careful with sharp objects, ...).
3.3
Care
Clean the sling for every new user. Note the instructions below for cleaning the sling:
•
Clean the sling with a cloth moistened with hot water.
•
Use a mild commercial detergent for removing stubborn dirt.
Stains can be removed by using a sponge or a soft brush.
•

Do not use strong cleaning liquids like solvents, nor use hard brushes.
Never clean with steam and/or pressure washers.
•
The sling can also be washed in the washing machine. Below some instructions for washing
in the washing machine:
•
The slings can be washed at + 60 ° C (+ 140 °F) in the normal machine wash. Do not
use chlorine bleach.
Do not put the slings in the tumble dry.
•

Do not iron the slings but just fold them up.
