MAINTENANCE:
Check lap belt and securing components at regular intervals for
any sign of fraying or damage. Replace if necessary. Clean the
lap belt with warm soapy water and allow it to dry.
DANGER!
• The lap belt should be adjusted to suit the end user as
detailed above Sunrise Medical also recommend that the
length and fit of the belt is checked on a regular basis to
reduce the risk of the end user inadvertently re-adjusting the
belt to an excessive length.

Options - Seat

COMFORT SEAT (FIG. 31).
The comfort seat is an anatomically shaped cushion and offers
comfortable seating over a long period of time.
The cushion is held by Velcro and can also be removed. The
cover can be washed (see the instructions on the cushion).
SEAT DEPTH (FIG. 32).
After loosening the star knobs (1) on both sides, the seat depth
can be adjusted in 1 cm increments. These are indicated by the
marks on the seat tube and the label on the seat plate. Set to
the desired position and tighten both star knobs.

CAUTION!
• The maximum seat depth (see marking and endstop) must
not be exceeded.
• Ensure the star knobs are always aligned with a matching
hole and firmly tightened.

SEAT WIDTH ADJUSTMENT
You can extend the width of the seat of your wheelchair by
removing the inner pads or add spacers (see option side guard)
ADJUSTABLE SEAT ANGLE
(0°-25° / -3 -22°)
Before operation please remove the locking pin, (1) (Fig.33).
By pulling the lever (2) the seat is released and can be put into
the desired position, (Fig.34). When you let go, the seat is
automatically fixed in the new position.
DANGER!
• Never adjust the seat angle if the wheelchair is on a slope.
• The angle-adjustable seat may only be used with anti-tip
tubes.
WARNING!
There is a danger of trapping your fingers when you
adjusting the seat.
CAUTION!
To ensure the correct function of the cables, these must
never be taut.
