suffi ciently cooled down.
∙ Ensure that the grill is not stored
outdoors, or in any other location where
it might be subjected to extremes of
temperature or high humidity.

Safety switch
The thermostat control is equipped with a
safety switch, which is activated when fi tted
into its holding bracket. With the thermostat
control not properly fi tted, the grill cannot
operate.

Before using for the fi rst time
∙ Remove any packaging materials and
stickers from the appliance.
∙ Clean the grill plate with warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly.
∙ Wipe all other parts with a damp cloth
and dry thoroughly.
Grill assembly:
∙ Prior to assembly, check that all parts are
complete in accordance with the section

∙ The screws holding the individual
components are already in place and
must be removed prior to assembly.
∙ Fit the support into the base and push it
down until it is secure and stable.
∙ Place the storage tray onto the support
and pull it down until it connects with the
screws on the support.
∙ Turn the grill pan over and fi t the
connection piece onto the pan in such a
way that the openings in the connection
piece are aligned with the mounting holes
on the underside of the pan. Use the
screws to secure the connection piece to
the pan.
∙ Turn the grill pan over again and use
gentle pressure to fi t it onto the support.
∙ Place the hood onto the grill pan. Adjust
the hood so that the hinges are correctly
aligned. Slide the bolts through the hinge
openings and secure them with the
locking pins by pushing the pins through
the holes in the bolts.
∙ Fit the handle to the hood and secure it
with the screws.
∙ Place the drip tray in the centre of the grill
pan.
∙ Screw the thermostat connection in place
on the underside of the grill plate.
∙ Turn the grill plate over again and fi t
it to the grill pan in such a way that
the thermostat connection fi ts into the
designated opening.
∙ Remove the rubber cap from the
thermostat plug and insert the plug into
