This chapter lists the questions most frequently
asked about the hand blender. If you cannot find
the answer to your question, please contact the
Customer Care Centre in your country.
General:
Why doesn't the appliance work?
• The batteries may be empty. Recharge the
batteries (see chapter 'Getting started', section
'Charging your hand blender').
• The safety switch may not work properly. In
this case, it is not possible to switch on the
appliance and the charging lights flash red. Set
the safety switch to the off (upper) position and
switch on the appliance again. If the appliance
still does not work after you have set the safety
switch to the off position, contact your Philips
dealer or a service centre authorised by Philips.
• The overheat protection may have switched off
the appliance because the motor is too hot. The
charging lights light up red for 16 seconds. Let
the appliance cool down before you continue
to use it. If the appliance still does not work,
contact your Philips dealer or a service centre
authorised by Philips.
