USING THE VACUUM
TURNING THE MACHINE ON/OFF
1. Plug the vacuum cleaner into an approved power source.
2. Turn on the vacuum cleaner by rotating the main switch
to the "ON" position (Figure 1).
3. Turn off the vacuum cleaner by rotating the main switch
back to the "OFF" position (Figure 1).
CLEANING THE PRIMARY FILTER
WARNING: If the vacuum cleaner has been used to collect Hazardous substances
(such as Flammable or Toxic materials) DO NOT attempt to clean the Primary Filter
in any way. If clogged, the Primary Filter should be replaced and disposed of according
to Federal (EPA,OSHA), State and local regulations valid for the Vacuumed.
If the performance of the vacuum cleaner decreases during
use, it may be necessary to clean the primary filter:
1. Turn off the vacuum and disconnect the vacuum from
its power source.
2. Remove the Diaphragm "A" (see also paragraph replacing the Primary Filter)
3. Lift the Primary Filter "B"
4. The Primary Filter should be in good working condition
(The pores must not be clogged).
5. If necessary, the Primary Filter can be cleaned
by blowing compressed air through the pores
or washing the filter with a mild detergent.
6. Change the Primary Filter if it can not be cleaned or
if it is damaged.
