12.General instructions for use
¡Warning!:
1. If the machine is in a bad condition or lacks parts
including the standard upper guides (the
illustrations of this manual may be used as an
orientation), do NOT use the machine.
Disconnect it, remove it from the work site and
immediately send it to the authorized technical
service.
2. Get to know and comply with all safety
measures before starting the machine.
Starting and stopping the machine

Information:
1. LOCKING: The machine has a start locking
button 2 that allows operation of the machine
without continuously having to push switch 1.
2. UNWANTED START: The equipment has a
safety module that protects it against
unexpected starts. If the power supply should
cease when the machine is operating, the
machines will not start when it is reestablished.
Push switch 2 twice to release the protection.
3. DISK BRAKING: The equipment has a braking
system that guarantees the stop of the disk
within less than 10 seconds.
¡Warnings!:
1. Avoid the locking 2 of the motor whenever
possible.
2. Never leave the machine unattended when in
operation.
3. Never start with the disk being blocked and
always wait until the cutting disk reaches its
maximum speed before starting the cut.
4. The disk must be clear and rotating freely before
the machine is stopped.
5. Check the work piece previously. Discard work
pieces with nails, screws, metal pieces or
excess of knots.

Use with the lower table
¡Warning!:
1. Any preparations shall be obligatorily carried out
with the cable disconnected.
Safety preparation of the lower cutting
table
IMAGES
1. Loosen the two butterfly nuts 40.
2. Lift the upper table 38 by pulling it upward until
abutting smoothly.
3. Tighten both butterfly nuts 40 turning them
clockwise.
Cutting operation with the lower cutting
table
¡Warning!
1. Respect the size and material limits of the piece
to be worked on.
2. Always use clamps for fastening the piece to be
worked on.
3. Never lock the motor power supply switch when
working with the lower cutting table.
This machine is capable of performing the following
kinds of cuts on the lower cutting table:
1. Miter cutting within a range from -50º to + 60º.
2. Inclined vertical cutting within a range from 0 to
45º.
3. Combinations within the horizontal and vertical
ranges (for example, as cutting-off machine with
a straight 45º horizontal and 45º vertical cut)
