Adjusting the upper table
1. On begins with the position of the machine with
the straight cut being adjusted for the lower table
15. Make this sure by carrying out steps 1-6 of
the procedure for checking the lower table.
2. Transversally apply a water level on the upper
table 38. Act on the two support butterfly nuts 40
of the upper table to correct the inclination of the
upper table until the bubble indicates an exact
flatness. Tighten the butterfly screws of the
supports.

Checking
1. One begins with the machine's upper head in
the resting position with bolt 32 locked and the
disk in 0º vertical (90º with regard to the
horizontal).
2. Release the head's vertical adjustment by
loosening control 28.
3. Move the stopper guide 49 outwards by
loosening its two screws to allow the head to
descend down to 45º.
4. Make sure to position the head until the indicator
36 marks the 45º limit on the goniometer 35 and
locks the shaft by bolt 47.
5. Set the vertical adjustment of the head by
tightening control 28.
6. Check with an angular gauge that there are
exactly 45º between the cutting disk 16 and the
lower table 15. You will notice this due to a
perfect contact of the flat sides of the disk is
perfect and abutment against the flat sides of the
4º angular gauge. To avoid incorrect readouts
due to resting on the teeth of the disk and on the
plastic cover of the cutting slot, use a rectified
iron plate as lifter. If the machine is well-
calibrated, there must not be any spacing or gap
between the contacting sides. If not so, proceed
to adjustment.

Adjustment
1. Make sure that the machine has the straight cut
perfectly calibrated at the lower table.
2. Carry out steps 1-6 of the procedure for
checking.
3. Act on the screw-nut set of area 27, first
loosening the nut and subsequently acting on
the socket screw until achieving exactly 45º
between the cutting disk 16 and lower table 15.
Alternatively, you can perform calibration by
applying a 135º gauge to the disk's other side. If
the machine is well calibrated, there must not be
any spacing or gap between the contacting
sides. Once calibration has been carried out, set
the adjustment by tightening the retained nut of

area 27.
4. The 4 screws 34 situated on guide 41 allow a
fine adjustment of the angles of inclination with
regard to the disk entry opening of the lower
table 15. They are delivered completely
adjusted by the manufacturer so that it is usually
not necessary to act thereon.
5. If necessary, adjust the vertical angle indicator
36 of the goniometer 35 by loosening its screw
and moving the indicator in such a way that it
indicates exactly 0º. Retighten the screw to
finish the adjustment.

Checking
1. Make sure that the machine is in the horizontal
resting position by lowering the head and
locking it by inserting grip 32 in its retainer hole.
2. Loosen the height adjustment butterfly nuts 40
of the upper table 38.
3. Lower the upper table 38 as far as it goes.
4. Loosen and withdraw the two fastening screws
of the movable guard 42 and remove the
movable guard 42.
5. Check the alignment of the keel 39 with disk 16.
Looking frontally from the height of table 38, the
disk must cover the keel visually. If not so, do not
use the equipment and send it to the technical
service immediately.
6. Check the adjustment of the safety separating
keel 39. The distance between the keel's inside
39 and the outside of the teeth of the disk must
be at any visible point between 3 mm and 5 mm.
If the measurements are not within the range of
the figure, proceed to adjustment.
