10.1.3. Temperature control (DI and DC versions)
In models with post-heating (DI and DC), the Termo-Reg unit performs temperature control.
For this purpose, depending on requirements, the opening or closing of the By-pass and the
use or not of the post-heating battery is managed. First priority is given to reach the tempera-
ture set by opening or closure of the By-pass. In case of if not suffi ciently proceed activation of
the post-heating battery.
The temperature taken as reference control is selectable
between supply temperature (contribution to local) and ex-
traction temperature (indoor environment). (See settings in
installer mode). By default, the control is set to control the
supply temperature (contribution to local).
By pressing the TEMPERATURE button is possible choose
between low, medium or high temperature.
An LED indicates the selected temperature.
CALEF.
OFF
The user can select 3 different levels of temperature inside of a certain range of values. There
are 3 ranges of temperature: ºC 17/20/23, 20/23/26 and 23/26/29ºC. By default, the predefi -
ned temperature range is ºC 20/23/26. To change this temperature range must be accessed
in installer mode. To turn off the heating mode, press the TEMPERATURE button until all 3
temperature leds are off.
Versions equipped with by-pass and without post heating:
In these versions the handset includes the icon temperature selection, although in this case it
is used to enter the setpoint in when the bypass is in automatic mode.
If selected «NONE» the setpoint temperature of automatic bypass will be the lower range
value of selected temperatures (of the range 20/23/26ºC).
10.1.4. Drive By-pass
The By-pass function allows (By-pass closed) or by-passes
(open By-pass) the passage of air through the heat exchanger.
The By-pass has two modes of operation:
• Manual: The By-pass can be selected to always remain
open or closed.
• Automatic: In this mode the control will decide, depending
the values of the various temperature sensors and tempera-
ture setpoint, whether open or close the By-pass as there is
demand for warm or cooler air. Below 15ºC the By-pass will
always remain closed to prevent low supply temperatures.
