INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. SAFETY WARNINGS
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili� es or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruc� on concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Unplug the appliance during fi lling and cleaning.
• Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological organisms
in the environment.
• Do not permit the area around the humidifi er to become damp or wet. If dampness
occurs, turn the output of the humidifi er down. If the humidifi er output volume
cannot be turned down, use the humidifi er intermi� ently. Do not allow absorbent
materials, such as carpe� ng, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become damp.
• Never leave water in the reservoir when the appliance is not in use.
• Empty and clean the humidifi er before storage. Clean the humidifi er before next use.
• Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
• KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF THE CHILDREN. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns,
perfora� on of so� � ssue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of
inges� on. Seek medical a� en� on immediately.
• Keep ba� eries out of the reach of children
• Do not allow children to replace ba� eries without adult supervision
• Do not short-circuit ba� eries
• Do not heat ba� eries
• Remove ba� eries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of
� me unless it is for emergency purposes
• Always select the correct size and type of ba� ery most suitable for the intended use.
Informa� on provided with the equipment to assist correct ba� ery selec� on should
be retained for reference.
• Clean the ba� ery contacts and also those of the equipment prior to ba� ery
installa� on.
• Ensure that the ba� eries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –).
• Remove exhausted ba� eries promptly.
• Do not dismantle ba� eries
• Do not dispose of ba� eries in fi re except under condi� ons of approved and controlled
incinera� on
