Check Water Leaks and Flush the Filter
1. If water leakage occurs, turn off the water supply. If the water leakage is occurring at
position 1 and 2, wrap the Teflon tape around the external thread. If the water leakage is
occurring at position 3 or 4, insert the quick-connect fitting to the end and make sure the
hoses hit the bottom of the fitting.
2. Flush the filter for 5 minutes before use.
To Disconnect
To detach the hose from the fitting, press down on
the lock sleeve using your thumb and index finger,
and then use your other hand to pull out the hose.
NOTE: Before pull out the hose from the fitting, take
off the lock clip. Please do not pull out the tubing
directly, or else it will damage the fitting and cause
leakage.
Filter Replacement
For optimum performance, it is highly recommended that you use a genuine Waterdrop faucet
replacement water filter. To keep the water fresh, it is also advisable to change your filter every
12 months or 8, 000 gallons, whichever comes first. This may vary based on your water usage
and water quality.
1. It's recommended to turn off the water supply and turn on the faucet to release water pressure.
2. Unscrew the housing and pull out the old filter cartridge. (Figure 7)
3. Insert the new filter cartridge into the designated slot and continue pushing until it reaches
the final position. Once in place, tighten the housing to secure the cartridge. (Figure 8)
4. Turn on the cold water valve and flush for 5 minutes.
NOTE: If you find it difficult to unscrew and tighten the housing, you can use the spare wrench
tools. (Figure 9)
