. Connecting an external device via Blue-
tooth®
In Bluetooth mode, you can receive wireless audio signals from an external Blue-
tooth-enabled audio output device. Make sure the two devices are not more than
8 metres apart.
Only one Bluetooth device can be connected to the soundbar at a time.
To pair a Bluetooth-enabled audio output device with the sound system
for the first time, proceed as follows:
Switch on the soundbar.
Press the
button on the soundbar
on the remote control
The operating LED flashes blue rapidly and an acoustic signal indicates that the
pairing process has been started.
Switch on the Bluetooth function on your audio output device and activate
search mode on it to pair the two devices.
For more information about the Bluetooth function of your audio out-
put device, please refer to the corresponding user manual.
The device name of the soundbar "MD 44022" will be displayed in the device list on
your audio output device as soon as the signal is found.
Select the soundbar and pair the two devices. If you are prompted to enter a
password, enter "0000".
When the devices have been paired successfully, an acoustic signal is emitted and
the operating LED lights up blue continuously.
In Bluetooth mode, the soundbar attempts to automatically connect itself to the
last audio output device connected via Bluetooth.
To pair a different/new Bluetooth device with the soundbar, and to disconnect
an active Bluetooth connection, if applicable, press and hold the
ton on the remote control
The operating LED flashes blue rapidly; the soundbar is now back in Bluetooth pair-
ing mode.
If you have connected the soundbar to a Bluetooth device that supports
the A2DP and AVRCP profiles (Audio Video Remote Control), the sound-
bar is used as an output medium and the audio signals are only output
through the soundbar.
In case of an incoming call, music playback is interrupted and only con-
tinues when the call has ended.
